Indian Supercross Racing League has closed rider registrations for Season 3 with 146 athletes from 21 countries entered across four racing categories. The completed pool now moves toward the rider auction, where franchises will select their squads for the new season.

The registrations underline the international reach of the franchise-based Supercross league while also providing a significant domestic presence. India has 30 registrations across the newly introduced 250cc Group A Foreign Bikes-only Indian Futures category and the 250cc India Asia Mix category.

An international field takes shape for Season 3

France leads the registration list with 32 riders, followed by Australia with 20 and the United States with 18. The field also includes competitors from Indonesia, Thailand, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, Japan, Canada, South Africa, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka and Mongolia.

The 450cc International category has 40 registered riders, while the 250cc International category has 54. There are 26 registrations in the 250cc India Asia Mix category, adding another layer of international competition to the Season 3 rider pool.

The 450cc International entry includes Season 2 champion Matt Moss alongside Jordi Tixier, John Short, Anthony Bourdon, Gregory Aranda, Ryan Breece, Luke Clout and Anthony Rodriguez. In the 250cc International category, the listed riders include Reid Taylor, Calvin Fonvieille, Justin Rodbell and Nico Koch.

The 250cc India Asia Mix field features Witsarut Salangam, Thanarat Penjan, Athison Ruadreo, Nakami Vidi Makarim, Ben Hallgren and Muhammad Athar Alghifari. The breadth of the entry list places experienced international riders alongside competitors from India and across Asia.

Indian riders in the registration pool

India’s registered contingent includes Rugved Barguje, Prajwal Vishwanath, Shlok Ghorpade and Ikshan Shanbhag. Their inclusion gives Indian riders another opportunity to compete against an internationally diverse group as the league continues its focus on building a development pathway through the Indian Futures category.

Eeshan Lokhande, Co-Founder and Director of Indian Supercross Racing League, said the registrations reflected more than the total number of riders and countries. He pointed to continued participation from riders in established Supercross markets as a sign of confidence in the league’s sporting standards, while describing Indian Futures as central to a structured pathway for Indian riders.

Moss, the Season 2 champion, returns in the 450cc International category. He said the competition had become deeper each season and that he remained focused on pursuing another championship in Season 3.

Attention turns to the rider auction

With registrations complete, the next milestone is the rider auction. Franchises will choose their Season 3 squads from the final pool of registered competitors, determining team compositions before preparations build toward the opening round.

The auction will convert the broad international entry list into franchise rosters and set the immediate competitive framework for the campaign. For the league, the size and geographic spread of the registration pool provide the basis for a Season 3 that combines established Supercross names with Indian riders seeking further exposure on home soil.
