Indian Supercross Racing League and ISRL Season 3 in Motorsport action

The Indian Supercross Racing League will stage its Season 3 auction in Pune on November 4, 2026, with seven franchises set to select 56 riders from a pool of 146 registered athletes representing 21 countries.

The auction is a key step before the new season begins on December 19-20, as teams finalise their line-ups through a combination of retained riders and new signings. The expanded seven-team field and the introduction of the Indian Futures category are central features of the Season 3 player market.

Franchises taking part are PBG Racing, BigRock Motorsports SX, Honda BB Racing, Gujarat Trailblazers, Indewheelers Motorsports, Reise TorqRacers, and newly added Tricolor Motorsports. Each team will be working from the same broad pool while weighing its existing retained talent against available auction options.

Seven franchises prepare to shape Season 3 squads

ISRL’s auction pool spans four categories: 450cc International, 250cc International, 250cc India Asia Mix and Indian Futures. The Indian Futures division is a new 250cc category restricted to foreign bikes.

Thirty Indian riders have registered across the Indian Futures and 250cc India Asia Mix categories. The league said the Indian Futures category has been created to offer emerging Indian riders a dedicated platform to develop through international-level competition.

The 146-rider pool gives franchises a wide selection across the league’s category structure, while the total of 56 selections underlines the importance of decisions made in Pune. With a seventh franchise entering the competition, the auction will establish the groups that carry into the Season 3 race calendar.

ISRL co-founder and director Eeshan Lokhande said the process would test how franchises judge rider form, category depth and team chemistry. He said the combination of 146 riders from 21 countries, the addition of a seventh franchise and the Indian Futures category would reward the strongest auction strategies.

Lokhande added that supporters would see the effects of those choices on track from the first gate drop. The league’s previous season had already highlighted how squad composition can shape team performance, placing further focus on the balance between continuity and fresh additions this time around.

Season schedule follows December auction build-up

After the November 4 auction, ISRL Season 3 is scheduled to start on December 19-20, 2026. Further rounds are listed for January 23-24 and February 6-7, 2027.

The timeline means franchises will move quickly from the auction table to season preparation once their rosters are confirmed. The new Indian Futures category gives the campaign an additional domestic development element, alongside the international and India-Asia Mix sections already included in the league’s rider structure.

ISRL is promoted by Team Supercross India Pvt. Ltd. and was founded by former international racers Veer Patel and Eeshan Lokhande alongside Aashwin Lokhande. The organisation describes itself as the world’s first franchise-based Supercross league.

For Season 3, the November auction will therefore set the immediate direction for all seven franchises. The choices made from the 146 registered riders will determine which combinations arrive at the opening weekend in December and begin the contest for the new campaign.
